My name is Mervyn Price. I’m the Volunteer Co-ordinator for North Staffs Voice.
I’m responsible for recruiting training and supporting our volunteers in their volunteering roles.
Emma Ford Engagement and Outreach officer
I am the Outreach & Engagement Officer for the city. My job involves meeting people who use mental health services at the places they go to. I talk to people at venues run by voluntary organisations and the social care side of Combined Healthcare. I also go to residential places. I talk to people to find out what is good about services and what needs improving. I then pass these views to the people who manage and commission services. I want to ensure that people who experience mental ill health receive the best services possible.

My role is primarily working in partnership with Combined Healthcare Trust to make sure as much as possible they involve people who use their services in all areas of the services and in particular the development of any new services. I also raise any concerns or issues I pick up from service users and if necessary meet with appropriate staff at Combined Healthcare to resolve these. I also attend Combined Healthcare Trust Board meetings and raise any concerns we may have directly with Board members and also pass on positive comments we pick up from service users about the services
